Mt. Carmel Invitational Tournament of Bands

The Mt. Carmel Marching Sundevils will be hosting their 35th Annual Tournament of Bands on October 29, 2011. This prestigous event draws high school marching bands from throughout Southern California, who showcase their musical talent and artistry in an afternoon parade, and continuous field shows from morning to evening. This Rancho Penasquitos tradition draws thousands of participants, family members, friends and Booster Organizations.
This year, the first field show starts at 8:00 a.m. The parade steps off at approximately 12:30 PM and is free for all attendees.
Admission to the afternoon field show is $10 at the door. You can pre-purchase your tickets to assure the best seat possible using the information below. Tickets purchased before October 1 are $9. The evening awards ceremony should start around 8:45 PM.
Parade and Field Show Schedule
For the band review starting at 12:30 PM, please be aware that there will be traffic control on Carmel Mountain Rd, Paseo Montalban, and the streets surrounding the parade. Plan on coming early. The parking lot will be filled with buses, semis, and trucks. Parking for this event is limited to the streets surrounding the school. Please come early and plan on walking to the stadium.
