Family Donations

The Mt. Carmel High School Music Program receives a small amount of money from Poway Unified, but the money is not nearly enough to cover the multiple expenses faced by a music program of our magnitude and caliber. We incur numerous expenses to run a program as well regarded and successful as ours. During the 2018-2019 school year, we provided nearly $100,000 to pay for supplemental music instructors and coaches benefitting all programs at Mt. Carmel High School.

Other significant expenses include: • Instrument purchase and repairs • Music (Purchase and copywriting) • Show Design (which includess: Creative Design, Staging and Choreography for all elements) • Uniforms and Costumes • Props • Transportation to competitions for students and equipment • Tournament Fees • Administrative Fees (Website, Insurance, Supplies, etc)

To provide for these expenses the Mt. Carmel Music Foundation requests families make an annual donation:
I would like to make a Band/Guard family donation for the suggested full amount of $650
I would like to make an Orchestra family Donation for the suggested full amount of $375
I would like to make a Winter Guard family donation for the suggested full amount of $650
I would like to make a Winter Drumline family donation for the suggested full amount of $550
I would like to make a Jazz Band family donation for the suggested full amount of $100
