Student fundraisers benefit the instrumental music program through a carefully recorded "student account" method. This method earmarks your student's earnings in the MCBB account. A portion of profits go to the general fund to cover the cost of running the fundraisers and to provide some revenue to the organization. But Student Fundraisers principally benefit the participating student. Your student can withdraw money form his/her student account to reimburse eligible expenses. Music lessons, assessment fees, uniform shoes, band/orchestra/guard trips, and much more, can be paid for by withdrawals from the student's MCBB account. (Check the MCBB handbook in Forms for details.)

Retail Scrip is a great way to raise funds for your music student's account and
also raises funds for the Mount Carmel Band Boosters. A percentage of your
purchase is credited to your student's account while you enjoy shopping or
dining at many locations in our area. Give Retail Scrip gift cards and certificates
as gifts or use them yourself, it all adds to your student's account.
We are introducing a new online ordering system for Retail Scrip with
shopwithscrip.com. The MCBB scrip coordinator will use this site to gather your
retail scrip orders. This new site offers you the convenience of ordering from
any internet connected computer.
Anyone can use shopwithscrip.com, but first you will need to create a free
account and use the MCBB shopwithscrip.com Enrollment Code (see below).
Once you are registered you can click on the "user guide" tab on the bottom left
for detailed instructions.
Here are some simple steps to register:
1. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com
2. Click on Create Account in the green Family Sign Up box
3. Follow the instructions to create your account; include your student's
name (other information is optional) and answer security challenge
questions
4. Add MCBB Enrollment Code: L2L16AC28831
5. When you log on to shopwithscrip, you will be taken to your
Family Home Page. Click the "My Account" tab to see your account and
start shopping
6. When you choose your items, add to your cart and click to check out
7. Select "check" as payment, which will be given to scrip coordinator, and
confirm your order.
8. Print your confirmation and submit with your check to the scrip
coordinator:

Mail in your order or drop it off at Erica's house. She will also be available to
take orders after 8:30pm during Wednesday night rehearsals, and during Band
Booster Meetings. Gift cards should be available within 2 weeks of ordering.
Please Note: If ordering at holiday time, be sure to plan ahead with orders
in November.
PrestoPayTM is a convenient way for you to pay Mt.Carmel Band
Boosters on-line, at the time you place your gift card order. It also
makes it possible to use Scrip Now and Gift Card Reload
Programs.
Shopwithscrip will debit your designated account for the face
value of the order plus a small convenience fee of $0.39 on the
day your order is placed. This fee is less than a .44 cent stamp to
mail your payment in.
You can still elect to pay with a check. You will be given the option
to select your payment type each time you order, during the
check-out process.
PrestoPay payments are made to the Great Lakes Scrip Center
on behalf of the Mt. Carmel Band Boosters.

Please Note:
If you pay for your order with PrestoPayTM, and the payment is
returned or rejected for any reason, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A
BANK CHARGE OF $30. You will also be responsible for the cost
of any scrip that has been distributed to you with that order.
