There's my Seat!
A big THANK YOU to the volunteers who helped paint seat and row numbers in Sundevil Stadium on Sunday morning!!! After an already busy weekend of football, SAT test administration and the Westview Tournament, over 20 people arrived bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and raring to go! Brooms in hand, the first task was to sweep the dust and dirt from the stands. Then, armed with red spray paint and stencils, this hard-working group painted over 3400 seat numbers and 360 row letters. The entire job was completed in just over 2 hours!!! What kept these brave souls going in the heat of the day? There can be no doubt…the motivating factor was three pink donut boxes filled with yummy goodness. Thanks to the stair stepping workout, they were enjoyed guilt free!
When the job was done (but before the donuts) this group picture was taken for posterity. Remember us on Saturday, October 27th when you - with your ticket in hand - are able to find your seat and park your posterior!

Did the athletic department help? Provide $$ for paint? Maybe a "thank you" note to the people who helped?
Looks great!

So THAT'S how you get the numbers on your stadium seats. I am truly impressed. Bless you.

This was alot of fun. Thanks to all that helped.

The athletic department helped the ushers committee coordinate a day to paint the stadium seats. The reserved seats only are used for the band tournament so it was appropriate for the tournament committee to pay for the paint. I must commend the Ushers Committee for a job well done and appreciate all those coming out to help.
