During the UCLA basketball team's dynasty of 1960's and 1970's, reporters used to crowd into the locker room after games to interview the coaches and players. Occasionally, they would ask the players what Coach Wooden said about winning. It seemed liked a reasonable question since the Bruins won often. The players would respond by saying that he didn't really emphasize winning at all. The reporters were puzzled by this, and then asked how the players would know they were successful. The players would reply with a saying that they heard from Coach Wooden throughout their college basketball careers.

Success is the satisfaction in knowing that you made the effort to become everything that you are capable of becoming.

No one can ask you to do more than that.
We recognize your effort and couldn't be prouder. You rock our world.

Congratulations to the MCHS. The Band and the Guard should be proud of yourselves. If you can't wait until the end of year video to see the Arcadia Field Show, I've posted a small version of it on the Old Harbor website at http://www.oldharborvideo.com/MCHS.htm.

Hope you enjoy the video, and again congratulation and well done.
